How do I set up my online store?
You need to fill in the online order form to get started. Once we have received your details, we will be in contact with you to start the setup process.
Is technical support included?
Technical support is included. We are here to help and help you succeed online.
Can I use my own domain name?
We recommend you use your own domain name for your new online store.
Is web and email hosting included?
Yes, email and web hosting is included in the monthly fee.
Are report systems included?(eg sales report)
The administration area has a number of different reports to help you monitor and plan the growth of your online store.
What is content management system?
A content management system (CMS) allows you to edit the content pages for your website easily.
Do I need HTML knowledge to manage my online store?
You do not need to be an HTML expert to modify the content of product and content pages. Our HTML editor takes care of that for you.
Can I edit my template design?
The administration area allows you to make changes to the layout of your online store and changes to your Cascading Style Sheet (CSS).
Can customers create a login profile?
Yes, each customer can create a login profile so their details are stored in the system, previous orders can be looked up and they can track current orders.
Can I add and change site languages?
There are 8 languages available and there is the ability to add more languages.
Can I use several currencies?
Yes, our shopping cart allows the use of multiple currencies.
Are the online stores search engine optimised?
There are built-in features for optimising your online store for search engines. You can add custom keywords, description and titles for every product and content page.
Do you provide online demos?
We have a demo available. You can access the demo by going to Online Stores and then click on Live Demo.
Are there any online store tutorials that I could use?
Yes, there is a manual that can be downloaded. The manual walks you through all the details for running a successful online store.
Do you provide free trials?
We do not currently offer a free trial but we do have an online demo available for you to try.
What are the security features for transactions?
We include SSL certificates with each online store. There are a number of security features built into the administration area to prevent unauthorised access to your admin area.
Can I use my own SSL certificate?
You can use your own SSL certificate or use the SSL certificate that we provide.
Is SSL certificate included?
We think that security is very important for you and your customers. We include an SSL certificate for all online stores with AVS Networks.
Do you charge transaction fees?
Unlike other shopping cart providers, we do not charge a transaction fee each time you sell something in your store.
Do I need a merchant account?
Depending on the payment methods you decide to accept for your online store, you may or may not need a merchant account. There are many options for new businesses to accept online credit card payments without a merchant account.
What payment gateways does your online store support?
There are a number of payment gateways supported including eWay, Westpac, Camtech, Paypal, Google Checkout and many more. Please look at all the payment methods in the Online Store Features under Logistics.
Are there any fixed term contracts and period of notice?
There are no contracts but all online stores have a month-to-month commitment unless otherwise agreed upon with AVS Networks.
Do you charge setup fees?
There is a fee to setup your online store. The amount depends on which setup package you select
Do you offer refunds?
We do not offer refunds if you decide you do not want to use your new online store because of the work involved in creating your online store.
